An artist and film maker, Fran started working in the sector as a Café Assistant at the SS Great Britain, Bristol, but quickly progressed through the organisation moving to Front of House to Finance and then to an administrative role within the Volunteer Programme. Uncovering a talent for working with volunteers, she moved into a specialist role as Volunteering Officer. Since then, Fran has worked and volunteered for many museums including Fulham Palace and The Museum of the Home in Hackney, both in London. Being dyslexic and working class, Fran is keen to support people who find difficulty in expressing themselves or having their voice heard.
